I have always liked Brother Ape, they have that something special, that somehow connect to the many fine Swedish prog band that we luckily are enjoying these years and I really must admit that there are many Swedish prog bands in my private collection. This is at the moment my fav album and band! But, do not conclude there is a Nordic pact, as to praise all progbands from The Nordic countries!! Not at all, this is purely and sincerely a matter of taste and quality of the band in question! This new album really does it for me, I like the change from heavier tracks to the lighter almost art-rock popish sequences that Stefan and fellow musicians create! I find this new album much more melodic, than those former

5-6 albums, I think it maybe..just maybe is because of those absolutely brilliant vocal harmonies that pops up in some of the tracks here, where they almost are Beatle-ish in their song and composition choices! Lead character: Stefan Damicolas : Guitars/ Lead Vocals and Keyboards. Stefan has a special voice, which I really like, mind you..not that roaring towering voice, but a steady commanding vocal that really touches me, I really cant tell you why, his voice just touches something in me! Also I must mention the great delivery from Max Bergman : Drums & Percussion & Gunnar Maxén: Bass, Keyboards and vocals. Anyhow, this new release from Brother Ape, to me really is a masterpiece, they have made great albums..but this one is magic to these trained ears!!

As opposed to some fellow critic´s/ reviewers, I do not not find any faults to this outing quite the opposite, I really think that this is Brother Ape at their best!!

A must own me thinks, but most certainly a must listen to release!!
