Third outing from this brilliant band that hails out of Chile (yes they do!!) are very impressive, as were the 2 former releases! Aisles follow the style of art-rock they so perfectly laid on the former 2 albums, so don't expect overly complex tunes and/or complicated progressive stuff! What you do get is very well tempered songs with fine musicianship! This outing has sequences of beauty, intensity and along the way some fine songs with great hooklines! To be honest, I don't find this release as intriguing as the former 2, still I like it and it goes straight into my private collection, since I also love art-rock and popish music such as: 10 cc/ Charlie/ City Boy .. to name a few! Please don't get me wrong here, this is NOT a pop album, it is far more (hence the art-rock moniker) these guys are brilliant and their music and compositions well delivered! My fav tracks here, in no particular order: Hero / Melancholia / Back My Strength (which have a certain BJH vibe) / Sorrow . Thats all from me, the choice is yours!!
Oh and the cover and booklet artwork is great!!
