One of the greatest voices in rock/blues Jack Bruce, piano and bass player de Luxe, released this fabulous live album way back in 1993. Now the brilliant re-master champs Esoteric Recordings have seen fit to re-master/rerelease this fine double album!! With the vast list of invited guest musicians and friends covering most of Bruce´s career this obviously has to be his legacy to UK music history and of course displays his talent for blues, rock through jazz and what lies in between those genres! A true master of his trade both vocally and instrumental wise !! As with all other artists, when it comes to live performance, the truth surfaces , can they deliver?! There are absolutely no doubt as to whether Bruce can deliver, this double feature are filled to the brim with great blues renditions/cover versions (by among others: Buddy Guy, Willie Dixon & Chester Burnett) and of course some of Bruce & Pete Brown ´s compositions, yes all the classic´s are here and then some. All brought to life (live) by the help of such notabilities as: Dick Heckstall-Smith/ Bernie Worrell/ Ginger Baker/ Simon Philips/ Pete Brown/ Clem Clempton/ Gary Moore & Maggie Reilly, to name a few!

I consider this fine double album a must have for all Jack Bruce and Cream friends! But also for those of you whom might be interested in Uk music history! A worthy document in every serious record freaks collection! I own the original release but this remastered edition easily surpasses in sound and package quality!! Watch out for the electrifying versions of Cream classic´s: NSU/ Sitting On Top Of The World/ Politician & Spoonful !! The grand finale "Sunshine Of Your Love" offers great musicianship of 14 friends plus Jack Bruce.

This is real music, a counterpoint to all that crap that surfaces these days and times, where some (read: Most) of the music industry really is nothing more than a assembly line in which all originality, spontaneity and true musicianship are left behind!!
