This great 8 piece prog/rock band from Scotland really took me by surprise, how can a (to me totally unknown !) band deliver such great music without me knowing of them ?!

Well luckily it happens once in while, even to an old prog geezer like myself. I am thankful to the band for sending the album to us. The first thing that got my attention is the powerful commanding vocals of Martin Murphy- composer, acoustic./electric guitars and of course lead vocal. But also the absolutely brilliant lead guitars of Greg Murphy, these guys shine all through the album.

But hey the rest of the musicians are equally great, delivering the goods at every track!

Now do not expect this band to break new ground, they dont..but what they do is delivering brilliant progmusic in the old school way, just as i like it!! If I were to give you a hint of their sound and inspiration sources...I would immediately say very much later period Pink Floyd influenced tunes- compositions (meant in the most positive way!)..and I love it!!

The vocal timbre of Martin Murphy very much reminds me of Mark Knopfler and Dave Cousins (Strawbs) here and there, but also slighty Bowie..when he worked the darker tone of his voice! I always listen to an album at least 4-5 times when reviewing, let me tell you right now there have been many more listens regarding this outing as in: The replay button were glowing at one point!
Yes you guessed it..its a keeper !!

For those of you who goes: Yuch not another Pink Floyd clone!! No no..I said inspired by and believe you me, there are plenty of other musical signals and sequences here to be found and enjoyed.

Now what you do...is go out an buy it !! Excuse me while I touch the....replay button again!
