Another great re-master from Esoteric, this rare album holds a blend of folk music and progressive music in the vein of acoustic Gryphon and with hints to Incredible String Band.
The lead vocals sometimes reminds this old geezer of Family´s Roger Chapman with the extreme voice vibrato (that, in case of this album, sometimes seem a bit forced) also worth mentioning on guitars, are the great Dave "Clem" Clempson (from Bakerloo and later with Colosseum, Humble Pie) I kinda like this album it takes me back to wonderful days and time, where everything were (seemingly) innocent, wonderful and honest!
The years have taken toll on all of us and it has on this outing also, still I find it intriguing and everyone of you out there with an open mind and a longing for the time gone by, this just ,might be for you!! That is, if you smiled at the references above!
Ill keep this one in my collection, for the history and the oddity, listening once in a while!
The cover art by Pete Thaine (also responsible for cover art to amongst others: Ralph McTell, T2) is clearly psychedelic and remind me of the days of flowers, love and funny tobacco! That really goes well with my sentiments earlier!!
