Remember Collace? Polish prog band supreme with several albums to their credit, although I think "Moonshine" might be the best remembered. Now the founder (and former?) member Wojtek Szadkowski has created a new fabulous band: Satellite, and what a great prog band it is! There are hints of Marillion (in the Fish era) and a nod to Pendragon & IQ here and there but overall this Satellite shines on the prog sky, as very much their own! And even if said Szadkowski is “only” the drummer of this fantastic band, he is the writer of ALL the songs and lyrics of this fine album!

There are some very beautiful moments. Actually, this album is filled to the brim with great themes. There are guitars, bass and drums (of course!) but it is the powerful keyboards that really rules this fine set of songs! They (the keyboards) absolutely rules this album´s songs as they turn out floods and waves of powerful key themes: synthesizers, piano, etc. The singing is quite beautiful (in English) and very clear and without detectable accent. I am not gonna point out special tracks as this, Ithink, is a complete album (concept anyone?) I think (hey that’s my opinion) the story is about the choice you make in your life. Do you wanna go down this street? Or did you choose another road!?

Anyway, this is a fantastic prog album! And I strongly recommend any serious prog fan to give it a try! Or better yet, buy this fine thing. You wont be sorry..promise! Oh, and by the way, the cover art are done by no other than the magnificent Mark Wilkinson. Yes, that’s right, he of Marillion cover-fame! So there you have it, a fine package for every prog freak to own!
