Whether Eela Craig is fairly unknown in prog circuits because of its origin (Austria) I don't really know, but one thing is sure though their music on this release, are really up there with the best !! One Niter is a beautiful album with all the trimmings you would want from a symphonic prog band and album! Now in this re-mastered edition, the sound have improved and the long sweeping themes such as "Circles" divided into four sections, holds just about anything you love, that is if you are into old school prog (like me) you get loads of keyboard (synthesizers), soaring guitar soli and perfectly laid vocals and perfect Harmonies. The 70´ prog vibe surely runs through every track, some more than others and my overall thought is that they really dont make em´ like this anymore!! Spontaneous ideas, studio possibilities and time period, surely made a difference! Havent heard this album since I wore down my vinyl copy many moons ago. So once again thanks to Esoteric/Reactive/Cherry Red for doing the research and re-mastering these gem´s from a somehow forgotten time and era!! This one goes straight into my private collection!! Old school friends, this is a must own!!
