Review
Second album from this Russian progband, I havent had the pleasure of hearing their first release, but this outing is quite excellent! The fine music herein is composed by: Andrey Pichchulov /keybaords and vocals and the lyrics by one Darya Yashenko, mind you all songs are in their native tongue, which takes some use to, hovever the booklet has all the tunes in english!

For me the music here are the most important (yes I can read the lyrics in English) but the understanding of the music in total, are very much coherent with the sound/and vocals delivered. I must admit that Russian are a language, that is quite rough sounding as opposed to..lets say Italian, which is smoother more fluid if you will?!

Nevermind that, since the music here is brilliant! A quite fine blend of ballads and power prog themes with a pinch of powerrock here and there! I think it will go over well with prog and rock friends from prog circuits.

To be honest, there is not much new to be had here music wise, but what you get is well played, delivered...with fine complex themes and fine musicianship.

As the road of progmusic as genré widens, the more we want special, we want different, we want new!! That said..we are funny that way..we are not as such happy with too many changes within´ that music we call progressive, contradiction in terms?! Sure!

Back to Group 309, I kinda like them for what they are, not groundbreaking but still interessting!! Your choice!!
