Dutch symphonic proggers Silhouette, are back with a beautiful album! As with the former release they deliver very capable symphonic prog music in the vein of say: Camel and PB II ( Plackband part II) with superb themes and well written songs! The music delivery is top notch as is the production. You get some well trimmed vocal harmonies and abowe all, the front line musically are led by the excellent keyboards of Erik Laan and the superb guitars ( and ever so often high flying soli) of Brian De graeve !! The rest of the band follow through. Is it old school prog?! It most certainly is and in a big way! No problem I for one cant get enough of that!!
My fav tracks?! Well quite a few, but let me just mention 3 of the most impressive, in no particular order: " In Solitary" / "Escape" (Silhouette shows a heavier side and it suits them!) & finally the third fav track:"Lost Paradise" one of two epic tracks on this fine release!!
This album goes straight to my private collection!! As it should yours!! GO!!
