A great album for shure, just not a masterpiece as such!!

Jean Pierre Louveton from great french proggers NEMO and Wolfspring, are back with his 7´th solo album and with help from musical friends hailing from Nemo/ Wolfspring and Lazuli, to name a few. Most of the lyrics here are in his native language bar "Joker" which is in English. Louveton takes care of the lead vocals, guitars, bass and programming. But the most remarkable thing on this album is really his eminent guitar playing, both acoustic, electric..especially his lead guitar work. It is a well produced album (by Louveton) and there are some great passages along the way....but I must say that it didnt touch me with the same immediate impression as...say the latest Wolfspring! Still there are a great many musical sequences to be had on this outing ! There is no doubt as to Jean Pierre´s multi talent and as mentioned his guitar work is brilliant! My fav. track, in no particular order is:
The high powered : Le Peste Et Le Choléra/ L´antidote, but also: L´e´toile du Nord / Convoléances and the epic: Jehanne..which starts out softly and beautiful then gradually builds into instrumental diverse moods both with oriental inspired themes and some heavier ditto! A great album for shure, just not a masterpiece as such!!
Oh...of course check out the album, if you are a friend of Nemo and /or Wolfspring, but most certainly if you are a fan of JPL´s solo work! By the way, see if you can detect/spot where JPL includes sequences of George Harrison´s: "While my Guitar Gently weeps".
