Power Trio de luxe with prog tendencies!!

Review
Earlier this year I reviewed the first Three Man Army album by way of the remastered cd released on Esoteric, I was then hoping for some more TMA albums...but BGO beat Esoteric to it and here we have the following 2 album in chronological order!!

It may be chronological, but there will be some confusion as to the album titles here.

Let me explain..or at least try to. Here goes...the mentioned Esoteric first TMA album is entitled: " A third Of A Lifetime"..then the 2 on one from BGO, still chronological mind you are entitled: "Three Man Army" (other wise entitled: Mahesha) and the third (are you still with me?) here entitled: "TWO" !! Go figure !!

That said, this brilliant trio plays power rock like no other, at the time. This trio emerged from GUN (with 2 great albums to their name) and of course they went on to become 2/3 of Baker Gurvitz Army..but thats a whole nother story!

Despite the title confusions, these 3 musicians deliver a superb power trio rock venture, with a blend of laid back instrumental sequences, that often crosses the realm of progressive. They also master the world of high powered classic rock as it were meant to be: Guitars, Bass & Drums de luxe, with superb vocals!!

Especially Adrian Gurvitz on guitars, shines on these fine releases!!

So 2 good albums in one package for you the power rock trio friend, that also like a bit of progressive tendency!

Me?! I have always loved these guys from the beginning (GUN) and later Baker Gurvitz Army, not to mention their stint with Moody Blues member Graeme Edge..by way of Graeme Edge Band ( you guessed it, also a trio)

So by now you know what to expect, i for one love this special branch of UK music! Ever since Cream/ Hendrix (US) and many other brilliant power trios from all over the musical globe!!.

All bands/artists and all moozik aficionados, if you have not joined Planet Of Prog on their fb page yet you might want to join them here too. They are unbiased, very honest sharing the music from the greats to the indie starting artists and what I love the most about them, there is no negativity (you'll not find any pompous selfrightous know it all full of know better and how sermons on their reviews) no matter who you are, all their reviews the bands are treated with utmost dignity even if the review is not most favorable, that review will be honest, not pompous and most in awe respectful of the artist's efforts.
