I have a special soft spot for the amazing guitar work of Uwe Karpa

This is chronologic the 4´th Anyone´s Daughter album, lyrics and vocal in their native tongue, I am not that strong in German language, but hey that doesn't really matter much to me, since the music really are beautiful, even brilliant at times! Also, the vocals are fine, smooth, gentle & very much suiting the music. This album has quickly become one of my favorites (yes I have many favorites!) actually I love Anyone´s Daughter and I must say that it very satisfying, these little gems (first 6 albums) have been re-mastered! This album have a more acoustic orientated approach than say " Anyone´s Daughter" (read review elsewhere on these pages!) and let me tell you these fine musicians can master both the heavier and the gentler side to their chosen melodic excursions! Their compositions are very well thought out and delivered, themes given time to develop and beauty allowed to shine when needed!
Every instrument are heard clearly and precise. I have a special soft spot for the amazing guitar work of Uwe Karpa (his playing covers beauty, aggression, speed, laidback acoustics and smooth tasteful themes) not one dull moment, when his guitars sing! Which actually could be said for the whole album...NOT ONE DULL MOMENT!! This release holds many beautiful moments and some very elaborate themes, that really makes you smile in joy while listening! It is (as the other fine releases from this excellent band!) simply brilliant symphonic prog/rock music! Delivered with superb musicianship and great feel for songs! What an album, what a band.

All bands/artists and all moozik aficionados, if you have not joined Planet Of Prog on their fb page yet you might want to join them here too. They are unbiased, very honest sharing the music from the greats to the indie starting artists and what I love the most about them, there is no negativity (you'll not find any pompous selfrightous know it all full of know better and how sermons on their reviews) no matter who you are, all their reviews the bands are treated with utmost dignity even if the review is not most favorable, that review will be honest, not pompous and most in awe respectful of the artist's efforts. I love them, love this site. Join if you want to,I like them a lot!
