Wobbler hails from Norway, this is their 4´th studio album and what an album it is!! Here is everything that a progfan could wish for..you get: Mellotron, Hammond, Moog, soaring guitar soli, solid bass and drums, percussion and the fine lead vocals of Andres Prestmo.
This album is divided into 4 tracks and only one under the 10 min. + mark. What to expect other than the mentioned and beloved instrument features ?! You get superior symphonic prog music with everything your progheart might desire, mind you ..more in the oldschool prog than the new era secment. The epic track here is the title tune " From Silence To Somewhere" with its wonderful homage to all oldschool prog than came before, it absolutely brims with melody changes, styles and variations..blended with superb musicianship and excellent delivery from all involved! This track is worth the admission price alone...20:59 min. of pure prog bliss...absolutely wonderful!! A MUST hear !!
The one track here that (as mentioned) is under the 10 min. mark..is what you in this case would call a vignette..the beautiful and short "Rendered In Shades Of Green" 2:05 min.
The remaining 2 tracks are great as well, each over 10 minutes duration and completes this brilliant outing of an album!! Norway are most certainly once again, back on the progmap !! A must hear and to this old proghead a MUST own for sure.
Cant say much about the cover art though, since my copy was a single cardbord sleeve.
