I had this band on vinyl way back, both albums and in my mind, blurred by time, I remembered them more progressive than fact is !! Maybe..just maybe, due to the fact that 2 thirds of them hailed from the mighty ATOMIC ROOSTER !!? Yes.. John Du Cann : Guitars and Paul Hammond: Drums, came from Atomic Rooster, where they participated on those great album releases: "Death Walks Behind You" & "In Hearing of..." 1970/71.

But reality is that they are more classic hard rock than prog, even though there are hints here and there to the prog segments !! Still for classic rock fans this must be a very welcome anthology ! Both their albums + a total of 7 bonus tracks covering the singles A & B sides!! I still like them, they had something special to offer as with their peers in that period of UK rock trio´s, naming a few here: Freedom, May Blitz, Clear Blue Sky & Gin House. My fav of the 2 albums presented here are "Bolex Dementia" where they clearly defined their style! I failed to mention the third part of this trio which is John Gustafson on bass & vocal !! This is a brilliant collection of said band and it comes with an excellent booklet!! This package really brings me back to those wonderful 70´ !! Now where´s the cold beer ?!
