Remastered, as always from Esoteric, good sound and fine booklet !!
September 13, 2017
Tim Blake keyboard wiz from UK, residing in France, are know for his work with GONG and HAWKWIND. He also contributed with solo albums, whereas this is the third originally released in 2000..but now remastered and re-released by the mighty Esoteric Recordings.
For me, this outing is a mixed bag of musical tricks, some of it the symphonic ambient spacerock he is well known for, other tracks here are somewhat folk´ish - pop - ordinary tunes to my ears. far from the music he created on: "Crystal Machine" & "Blake´s New Jerusalem" of which both are my favorite solo albums from him!
After Gong / Hawkwind, Tim had stint with French light artist: Patrice Warrener under the moniker: Crystal Machine.
The production here is fine, with excellent sound differenciale between bass and the higher notes.
All bands/artists and all moozik aficionados, if you have not joined Planet Of Prog on their fb page yet you might want to join them here too.
